About Amanda

Hairdresser.
Educator.
On your side.

Around twenty-five years in professional hairdressing — spent learning the craft deeply so she can make it feel simpler for you.

The short version

Amanda has spent around twenty-five years behind the chair — and her career has stretched well beyond the salon floor, into editorial and fashion work and years of standing at the front of rooms full of hairdressers, teaching.

That mix matters. The fashion and editorial world taught her precision and calm under pressure. The salon taught her what real clients, real time pressure and real hair actually demand. Teaching taught her the thing she now cares about most: most hairdressers don’t lack skill — they lack the understanding that makes skill feel safe to use.

So that’s what she teaches. Not tricks. Not performance. Understanding — delivered warmly, in small rooms, by someone who remembers exactly what second-guessing yourself feels like.

The standard

Craft you can see from across the room.

Precision cutting, colour, texture — the work speaks quietly for itself. And in class, every line and every decision gets explained, not just demonstrated.

How she teaches

“I’ve spent years learning this — so I can make it easier for you.”

Amanda’s classes are small and honest. Questions are welcome, nobody is put on the spot, and nothing is dressed up to look harder than it is. The goal is always the same: you, more confident, for good.

Confidence is learnable.

Whether it's curls, consultations or simply trusting your own decisions — the right education changes how you feel behind the chair. Register your interest and Amanda will let you know when she's teaching near you.
